We're Buying a home!

So we're finally biting the bullet and are going to buy a house. Escrow closes on June 15. I cannot believe all of the things we still have to do. Have to buy a fridge, and consider sealing the granite, and the tile flooring & grout. YIKES. Plus we need to get blides so I can run to and from the dryer for clothes!

And then there was Tug...

After a long lonely period with out Kalli, we decided to move ahead and take the plunge with another puppy. This little guy we adopted from a Yuba City Animal Rescue. Introducing Tug, formerly known as Marbles. He has a number of other names...those are rather inappropriate. Enjoy.

Sadly in February we had to place our sweet little Kalli to rest. She had liver shuts, and was rapidly declining. We had hoped for the best, but had to do the best thing for her. Now she rests peacefully under the good puppy tree, bounding through heaven's rainbows. We'll miss you.

Ah...every grown man's dream...GLAMIS

So after freezing in the Tehachapi's we finally made the trek down to the place they call Glamis. One night Amy and I even had a ride in sand cars out to oldsmobile hill...Holy crap! It was better than a roller coaster!

So we were on our way to Glamis for a quad riding heck of a time when we stopped for the night in the town of Tehachapi SE of Bakersfield. We froze our tushies off outside of the trailer, and it was so cold it made the windows freeze inside. Thank goodness we had our friends Kevin & Amy...didn't want to freeze alone!

Foot Journey through DC in the Fall

I had the great opportunity to visit one of my bridesmaids Kelly in DC last December. I forgot how much I loved the city and its architecture.

It's been a while I know...

So my sister is kind of a blog freak...and probably the only one reading this, but I told her I had until January 31, to post a blog to be up to date for this year...well here goes. I have a series of photos I want to share since we've been married. Hope you enjoy the show!

Finally! We made it to the alter and had a beautiful day. I think we can both say it's been sureal. I was so humbled to see all of our friends and family that came out to support us. We've been looking forward to this day for a long time. Thank you to all of my friends and family that helped to make this possible.

FINALLY! We found a cute place in Ripon. There's the most wonderful family that is willing to have all of our friends and family at their home! Phew! That's a load off of our plate!
